About Us Siamak Tabib, M.D., received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Following this training, he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the combined UCLA/Cedars-Sinai medical program. Dr. Tabib is an active attending physician in the Division of Gastroenterology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Gastroenterology. He also attends and teaches on the Liver Transplant and Metabolic Support Team services. He is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Tabib's main clinical and research interests include preventive medicine, particularly colon cancer prevention. He also has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies through the use of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He has written numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and has presented his findings in both national and international conferences. Dr. Tabib has a busy and thriving sub-specialty based private practice in the Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles market. He is also an active member of several professional societies including the American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association.
